Health measures - COVID-19
Covid Safe Ticket
In accordance with current federal government COVID regulations, the festival organisation will be using the COVID SAFE TICKET, which is mandatory for all events to be attended by more than 3000 people.
In order to gain access to the festival, each festival-goer (aged 12 and over) must have a Covid Safe Ticket. This means, however, that you will not need to wear a mask as a visitor and you do not need to keep a distance of 1.5m from others. Children under 12 years old are exempt from having to present a Covid Safe Ticket. Before entering the event (car park & queue), the preventive safety measures, including wearing a mask and keeping a distance, will still apply.
The Covid Safe Ticket will not be implemented for school groups, regardless of the age of the students in the group. The accompanying persons of these groups (teachers, educators, parents...) will be considered as part of the school group and will not have to present a covid safe ticket either. The wearing of a mask (from 12 years old) and the respect of barrier gestures will have to be respected.
An entrance ticket is not necessary.

What are the rules for accessing the event?
The COVID SAFE TICKET (as a QR code on the COVIDSAFE.be application or on paper) will allow you to enter the festival site if:
- You have a vaccination certificate proving that you are fully vaccinated at least two weeks before the event.
- You have a NEGATIVE PCR test less than 72 hours old (date and time of when the sample was taken)
- Validity: day sample was taken + 3 days (validity ends at 11.59pm)
- You have a NEGATIVE ANTIGEN test less than 48 hours old (date and time of when the sample was taken)
- Validity: day sample was taken + 2 days (validity ends at 11.59pm)
- Important: the antigen test must have been performed by a health professional; personal tests are NOT valid!
- You have a certificate of recovery following a positive PCR test (older than 10 days and less than 6 months) via the CovidSafeBE application.
If you get tested:
✅ If the test is negative, the festival-goer/exhibitor can access the festival site
❌ Without a QR code or their ID card, site access will not be permitted
❌ A self-test will not grant the festival-goer/exhibitor access to the festival site. Only antigen tests performed by a health professional and registered on your CovidSafeBE application or via the MaSanté website are valid!
❌ If it is not possible to check the test, site access will not be granted. It is therefore important to download the COVIDSAFEBE application before coming to the event and to come to the entrance with your ID card ready and a sufficiently charged smartphone. Screenshots will not be accepted.
❌ If the test is positive, site access will not be granted.
How does it work in practice?
To enter the event, come to the entrance with your valid Covid safe ticket (as a QR code on the COVIDSAFE.be application or on paper).
Please note: your ID card will be checked at the same time as your QR code, so please make sure you have it to hand.
Where can I get my COVID SAFE TICKET?
Your COVID SAFE TICKET is identical to your Digital Covid Certificate: a valid QR code from the CovidSafeBE app if you are staying in Belgium, and a valid QR code from your CoronaCheck app if you are staying in another European country.
For festival goers/exhibitors from other EU countries, the UK or Switzerland, we will scan the QR code issued in your home country. The above criteria must also be met: full vaccination + 2 weeks, PCR test -48h, AG test -24h or certificate of recovery.
Note that in France, the government considers a single administration of vaccine in someone previously infected with Covid-19 to be the equivalent of full vaccination; this is not the case in Belgium. You therefore need 2 doses + 2 weeks or 1 dose and 2 weeks for J&J.
IMPORTANT: you must FIRST install the CovidSafeBE app or another European Digital Covid Certificate on your smartphone. Screenshots are not authorised. Without a valid QR code and your ID, we cannot check your Covid status and you will not be able to enter the event. So don't forget your ID card!
What should I do if I am denied access?
If a red light appears when checking your QR code, you will be denied access to the event. It is your responsibility to make sure that you meet the requirements for the Covid Safe Ticket.
